Crew members should be vaccinated yearly. Vaccination of passengers, especially those at high risk for influenza complications, is recommended at least 2 weeks before cruise ship travel, if influenza vaccine is available and the person has not already been vaccinated with the current year’s vaccine.

Do you have to get the Covid vaccine to go on a Carnival Cruise?

Yes. All Carnival passengers 12 and older must be immunized and provide proof, with few exceptions made for unvaccinated children 11 and younger, as well as older cruisers who are unable to be vaccinated. Unvaccinated individuals must submit to additional pre-cruise testing to be able to embark.

Did Carnival cruises get Cancelled?

Cruises Canceled in October and November These new cancelations impact sailings aboard both Carnival Miracle and Carnival Radiance. According to an email sent to booked guests, the canceled sailings include Carnival Radiance from the October 17, 2022 departure through the ship’s October 28, 2022 voyage.

What happens if you get sick on Carnival cruise?

Typically, a member of the cruise line’s Care Team will accompany the ill passenger and a companion or family member to the hospital. You will not be reimbursed for any unused portion of your cruise. You will be charged for medical services onboard and in the port of call where you are disembarked.

Can I cruise if I have a cold?

Should you have a fever or other symptoms of illness at the terminal, this could result in a denial of boarding for you and those in your travel party. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to monitor your health in the days leading up to the cruise and cancel or change your plans if symptoms of illness should arise.

Will cruise lines require masks?

Note: In mid-April, a federal judge in Florida struck down the CDC’s mask mandate for public transportation, but most cruise lines are still requiring passengers to mask up at the terminal during embarkation and disembarkation.
