Lake Minnewanka is open seasonally, generally starting the second or third week in May, and closing on the Tuesday after Labour Day weekend (late August to early September). On these trips, we’re primarily fishing for lunker Lake Trout as well as jumbo Rockies (Rocky Mountain Whitefish).
