Can you transfer games from PS3 to PS Vita?

Sony is continuing to slowly wind down PS3 and Vita functionality. The latest feature to be discontinued is the ability to transfer games from PS3 to Vita.

You can’t install games on external USB drives. Games will only run off of the internal hard drive. You can replace the internal hard drive. It will take any standard SATA 2.5″ (laptop-sized) drive.

Do PSP games work on PS3?

The only PSP games playable on both PSP and PS3 are the downloadable PS1 classics and the Minis. I am not sure if it is possible to copy the saved games between the two platforms though. Regular PSP titles cannot be played on PS3.
