Can you put regular strings on a Ubass?
They do however have a nylon core (rather than the steel core found in standard bass strings), so I’m concerned that using standard strings could damage the instrument somehow. I wouldn’t want the strings to feel too loose, so I’d either use a heavy gauge set of roundwounds (110-50) or simply use flatwounds.
