ChKM is a mixture of 27% 4-chlorophenole, 71% racemic camphor and 1.6% levomenthol and is market in Germany as “Walkoff’s ChKM solution” (Haupt-Dental, Würzburg, Germany). ChKM is comparable to international common camphorated parachlorophenol (CMPC) products and was introduced to dentistry in 1905.
