How long will my SunFX tan last? Most people can expect their SunFX tan to last for up to 7 to 10 days depending upon your skin type and preparation. Regular moisturizing with one of our unique SunFX tan extenders will extend the tan’s life greatly.

Why did my Mystic Tan not work?

If a dark tan is what you’re looking for, we do recommend waiting a few hours before rinsing it off so that the product has longer to develop with your skin. Note: after rinsing, your skin will continue to deepen over the next 24 hours, so if your skin does not seem that dark, give it time!

How long should I wait after a tanning session before showering? To give the DHA enough time to fully set, we recommend waiting a minimum of 4 hours after tanning. Showering sooner may diminish the intensity of the tan.

Will Mystic Tan rub off on sheets?

There is a good chance that the bronzer will come off on your clothes and/or bed sheets before you take your first shower after the air brush spray tan is applied. It will come out in the wash as long as you do not wait and extremely long amount of time to wash the items.

What do you wear during a spray tan?

When deciding what to wear to a spray tan session, always choose loose clothing that won’t rub on your skin. Flowy dresses and skirts, or loose-fitting jumpsuits without elastic are ideal. If you’re comfortable, avoid wearing a bra or underwear, which tends to cling to skin and may cause discoloration.

Should I put lotion on before a spray tan?

Yes, you should definitively moisturize before getting a spray tan—but not too close to your appointment! Lotions, creams, perfumes, and even deodorants can affect how your tan adheres to your skin. Head to your appointment with clean, bare skin.
