The University & College Designers Association (UCDA) inspires designers working in academia in North America and around the world by delivering relevant programming and benefits in a personal and thoughtful way.

How many entries are in the UCDA Awards Collection?

The curated collection currently contains more than 6,500 award-winning entries from 1971 through today. The UCDA Award was created in 1995. This stunning award is presented by the UCDA board of directors in recognition of those who have donated their valuable time, service and support to further UCDA’s goals.

UCDA recognizes the importance of lifelong learning and, as a result, proudly supports members through the dedicated funding of the UCDA Foundation professional development scholarship program. The Official UC GPA is calculated by dividing the total number of Grade Points by the total number of attempted UC Units. These figures can be found on the official transcript. The ability to register for classes, or being enrolled in classes, is just one characteristic that defines “a student” at UC Davis. At the time of registration, a student becomes financially liable and responsible for all tuition and fees for the term.

What is a good balance point for UC GPA?

The higher a student’s UC GPA is above 2.000, the higher the student’s positive Balance Point balance; the lower a student’s UC GPA is below 2.000, the higher the negative Balance Point balance. Balance Point values are assigned as follows: A student receives a B+ in a 4 unit course.
