In the second pen we have a Blue Partridge Orpington rooster that is half Fancychicks line and half Greenfire Farms line covering Greenfire Farms line hens. From these two pens chicks could be Splash, Blue or regular Partridge. These are one of our favorites with their beautiful penciling, sweet disposition and lots of fluff!
What kind of Orpingtons do we have at our farm?
Our Spangled/Mottled Orpingtons are primarily from Heirloom Orpingtons imported lines, we do have one hen from a mixture of Autumn Farm Orpingtons and Heirloom Orpingtons line. These are all very laid back and gentle, this striking variety is a favorite here on the farm!
